Where’s the body?

Here is a summary of Miguel Olaya’s attempt to transport his deceased wife’s body according to AP, American Airlines sued for losing body, CNN.com, Sept. 9, 2008:

• Teresa Olaya died on March 28, 2008.
• Her husband, Miguel Olaya, attempted to send Teresa’s body to Ecuador for burial on April 1, 2008.
• When Miguel tried to claim the coffin in Ecuador, it was not on board.
• He was unable to claim the body until April 4, 2008 after it started to decompose because it was allegedly not properly embalmed.
• Miguel has sued the DeRiso Funeral Home in Brooklyn as well as American Airlines.
• The funeral home claims that an American Airlines agent entered the wrong airport code which caused the body to be sent to Guatemala.
