New York Bar Association Provides New Durable POA and Major Gifts Rider Forms

Changes modernizing New York’s durable power of attorney prompted the New York State Bar Association to draft, and offer at no charge to members, a new power of attorney form updating and replacing the old form.  Also provided is a Statutory Major Gifts Rider form, which is now required by New York law to give an agent authority to make major gifts.
