Murderer Inherits $241,000 from His Victim
Heroin addict Brandon Palladino murdered his mother-in-law, Dianne Edwards, after she caught him attempting to steal jewelry from her home. Dianne’s will bequeathed everything, about $431,000, to her only daughter, Deanna Palladino. After Deanna spent $190,000 of her inheritance on her husband’s defense, Brandon was still convicted and made a deal to do 25 years.
Deanna died last February, leaving everything to Brandon. When Brandon gets out of jail, he will receive the remaining $241,000 of his victim’s money.
Dianne’s family is furious, and is trying to get the judge to scrap the plea bargain with Brandon unless he forfeits his victim’s remaining legacy.
