Assisted Living Industry Rattled by Investigation

In response to the PBS Frontline episode examining theassisted living industry, the country’s largest assisted living company crafteda detailed strategy memo, which it sent to the heads of other major assistedliving chains.

The memo from Emeritus Senior Living asked the otherassisted living companies to put up a “united front” and help “to offset thepotential negative backlash created” by Frontline’s investigation.  As part of its response plan, Emeritus isrequesting its employees, who work at around 500 facilities, to post commentson Yelp, Caring.com, Google, and Frontline’s website and Facebook page.
