The legal battle between two rich members of the samefamily, James Cohen and Samantha Perelman continues in a New York countycourthouse. Perelman, Cohen’s niece, is alleging that her uncle convinced hergrandfather Robert Cohen to take her out of the will before dying fromParkinson’s like disease in 2012. The case turns on whether Perelman’s lawyersto prove Cohen used undue influence to get his father to change the will.Cohen’s lawyers state that even under Cohen’s last will, drafted in 2009, wasgoing to inherit $20 million in assets and insurance proceeds worth $47million.
