Step Children Lock Widow Of Late Billionaire Out Of Flat
When Judy Taubman, the widow of late billionaire property tycoon Alfred Taubman, showed up at Mayfair flat in London that she shared with her late husband she was prevented from entering by security guards hired by her step-children. The dispute arose because of a disagreement over two paintings that are hanging in the flat. Mrs. Taubman claims that the Mayfair flat was left to her in Alfred Taubman’s will, but until the estate is released in mid-October the flat remains under the control of the late billionaires three children. When Mrs. Taubman was denied entry into the flat her luggage piled up outside. She was finally allowed into the flat when the two paintings in question were collected by Sotheby’s.
