Robin Williams’ Children Ask Judge To Dismiss Petition Filed By Surviving Spouse
I have previously discussed the ongoing battle over the estate of late actor and comedian Robin Williams. In the latest development Zachary, Zelda, and Cody Williams have all accused their step-mother of trying to obtain a much larger share in the late actor’s estate at their expense. Susan Williams filed a petition in December 2014 requesting that the Court exclude the contents of the Tiburon house that she lived in with Robin Williams from being distributed to his children. The children responded to Susan Williams’ petition on August 14th of this year, arguing that the estate’s trustees have already properly determined the distribution of Robin Williams’ personal property. There are also ongoing disputes over the amount of money that should be placed into the reserve fund that would help Susan Williams take care of the Tiburon home.
