Tom Benson Looking Forward to Court Ordered Mental Evaluation

As I have previously discussed, a mental evaluation of Tom Benson has been ordered by the New Orleans court hearing the challenge to his mental competence brought by his daughter and grandchildren.  Benson has expressed a positive reaction to the court order and said he asked his attorney to make arraignments for the exam to take place sooner rather than later so he can resolve the issue quickly.

In addition to the psychiatric evaluation order from the New Orleans court, a Texas court has ordered that decision making control of a trust created by Benson for his daughter and grandchildren be taken over by Phil Hardberger, a former San Antonio mayor, and attorney Art Bayern.
