Impact Investing & Positive Screening
Ethical and moral views can shape the market through impact investing. Impact investing includes intentional investment or removal of investment techniques of negative screening by effecting social change through removing business and capital, and activism methods like boycotts. The current climate of impact investing includes an increased focus on positive screening and choosing investment opportunities for reasons other than profitability, such as encouraging environmental goals.
