2014Estate planning attorney, Margaret Barr, has suggested that people think about and update their estate plan for the New Year. Below are some quick and easy tips to help you update your estate plan:

  1. Draft beneficiary designations or update them.
  2. Consider creating a living will and a health care surrogate.
  3. Think about including your digital assets in your estate planning.
  4. Create an estate plan to ensure that you provide for your dependants.
  5. Check to see if your county permits e-filing for estate administration documents for convenience.
