Caramadre to Await Sentencing Behind Bars

Cranston estate planner Joseph Caramadre will remain jailedafter Judge William Smith denied his request for release. 

Caramadre awaits his sentencing, set for September, “for hisrole in an investment scheme targeting the terminally ill.”  Because Caramadre had already lied on thestand, Smith didn’t buy Caramadre’s representations that he did not pose adanger to himself or others.
