Business Coaches Can Be Helpful for Struggling Practices
Being a great attorney does not mean that you will also be a great businessman. One attorney provides tips on what helped him with problems in his business. Philip Kavesh has his own estate planning practice and found himself struggling with properly managing his business. He tried coaching programs to help deal with the problems he saw, but those weren’t tailored enough to what was specifically challenging his practice. Eventually, Philip found David Giuliano, a business coach with Without Boundries Coaching.
With David’s help, Philip found that the trouble with his business was not coming from factors he thought it was. He found a lot of personal conflict among members of his staff and David was able to become a third party for the staff to speak with about issues. Philip has noticed that his employees are not more motivated to work and come into the office in better spirits.
Another important lesson that Philip learned from David is to become aware of his blind spots. For Philip, one of the main bling spots they found was that procedures he thought were being done were not actually being completed. Some things to check for if your business is having trouble include, turnover of staff, rate of cancellation for customer appointments, backload of case files, cash flow problems from month to month, among others.
