WealthDocx 2011

Logo WealthCounsel released the latest version of the WealthDocx document assembly system in March. The system allows an attorney to enter a client’s information and planning decisions using a question and answer process. After the attorney enters the information, the system assembles and displays documents being prepared for the client in Microsoft Word.

The system’s updates include provisions for unmarried couples, provisions for same-sex married couples, improved functionality of names, advise from the publisher regarding portability, expansion of the LLC module, more information on non-corporate family business planning using the LLC module, and new links on the WealthDocx installation screen.

One journalist’s rating of the new system is below (one asterisk = lowest, five asterisks = highest):

  • Ease of navigation, design of interface and learning curve ****
  • Instructional documentation and help system ****
  • Carries out the goal of the product as advertised *****
  • Overall usefulness *****
