Texas Estate Planning Statutes 2009 Edition Published

Gerry W. Beyer (Governor Preston E. Smith Regents Professor of Law, Texas Tech University School of Law) has recently published the 2009 edition of his book entitled Texas Estate Planning Statutes With Commentary (Aspen Publishers).

This book is a compilation of Texas statutes which are significant to courses related to estate planning such as Wills & Estates, Trusts, Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Elder Law, and Guardianship.  The author included commentary entitled Statutes in Context to many sections. These annotations provide background information, explanations, and citations to key cases which should assist students in identifying the significance of the statutes and how they operate.
