Unusual Will Provisions from England & Wales

A website in the United Kingdom contains a variety of very interesting will provisions.  Examples include:

  • the shortest dispositive provision (“vse zene”),
  • the anti-vampire clause (“My doctor is to drive a steel stake through my heart to make sure that I am properly dead”) (but I thought it had to be a wooden stake), and
  • Heinrich Heine’s famous remarriage clause (his wife’s gift conditioned on her remarrying so “there will be at least one man to regret my death”).
