Oregon’s Assisted Suicide Rate Declines

In 2004, 37 people took advantage of Oregon’s Death With Dignity Act.  This is a decline from 2003 when 42 people killed themselves under the assisted suicide legislation.

The average age of the self-terminators in 2004 was 64.
