Family Togetherness — Taken Too Far?
About 21 years ago, Mother died. Son kept Mother in a glass casket at home. Family members say that Son guarded Mother’s casket with great care and would not allow others to see it.
There are also reports that:
Before doing anything important, [Son] would write “yes” and “no” on two pieces of paper. Then, sitting at the feet of the mother’s body, he would select one piece of paper without looking at what it said and act accordingly.
Son has recently died and both of them were buried.

Special thanks to Assistant Professor Alyssa A. DiRusso of the Cumberland School of Law for bringing this case to my attention.
