Earlier today, I received an e-mail advertisement for US-Wills.com, an on-line will writing service.

This company’s website describes the service as follows:

Before committing yourself to making any payment to US Wills Online, we will show you a summary of your Will online – with absolutely no obligation to buy. If you are happy with the summary of your Will – you can simply proceed to the payment page, make your small payment and immediately view your Will.

The site also has links to similar sites for Canada and over 30 other nations.

The process takes about five minutes and the charge is $14.99.  The site requires a credit card number before you can view your will so I have not actually seen the results.
