Oregon’s 2005 Assisted Suicide Statistics Released
Dispelling notions that the Oregon Death With Dignity Act would open the floodgates to people wanting to self-terminate, statistics recently released show that during 2005, the Act was responsible for only 38 deaths. This figure is up by one person from 2004 but still behind the top figure of 42 from the year 2003.
