Famous Guardianship Cases Discussed
In A Series of Unfortunate Events: How Judicious Judges, Wealthy Wards, and Mad Media Have Catapulted Guardianship into the National Spotlight, J. Nat’l College Prob. J., Spring 2006, at 5, Terry Hammond (Executive Director of the National Guardianship Association) discusses several recent and famous (or infamous) guardianship cases included the Glasser case which has received considerable attention on this blog.
Mr. Hammond explains his hope that the Uniform Guardianship and Protective Proceeding Jurisdiction Act (currently in its third draft) will help resolve some of the current problems with these cases.
