Kim Dayton and NAELA

As reported in the AALS Section onAging and The Law Spring 2006 Newsletter, the NationalAcademy of Elder Law Attorneys has elected KimDayton, of William Mitchell, to itsBoard of Directors for a two-year term. Kim is also the co-chair (withKatherine Pearson from Penn State Dickinson School of Law) of NAELA’s recentlyformed Diversity/Academic Connections Task Force.

The newsletter also reports that,this fall (2006), the third edition of the case book she co-authored with MollyWood (University of Kansas) and Julia Belian (Creighton), Elder Law: Readings,Cases and Materials (Lexis Nexis) and its statutory supplement will be published.

Adding to her list of honors, Kim isnow a Distinguished Fellow of the Canadian Centre for Elder Law Studies.
