Princeton University, which is looking at the issue of “[w}hether a charitable organization, such as a college, when it accepts a gift for a specific purpose, should be able to use that gift for other purposes without the express approval of the donor, the donor’s legal heirs or a court order permitting such a diversion.”

According to Jennifer Berkowitz, Communications Counsel,

Next week, a Superior Court Judge in New Jersey will hear oral arguments * * * [T]he Robertson family and foundation trustees have established a web site to put the record in front of the public including how Princeton misspent more than $100 million that was supposed to be used to prepare men and women for government careers  particularly in Foreign Service.
