Payment of trustees fees and reimbursement for services rendered may be made after death of supplemental needs trust beneficiary
In State v. Hammans, 870 N.E.2d 1071 (Ind. Ct. App. 2007), the court held that the statutory requirement that a self-funded supplemental needs trust reimburse the state on the beneficiary’s death does not prevent payment from the trust of trustees’ fees and the reasonable value of the services provided to the disabled beneficiary by his caregivers before reimbursement of the state.
