Call for Papers — Last Chance to be in the Inaugural Issue of the Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal
Here is a description of your last chance to appear in the Inaugural issue of the Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal:
The editors for Volume I of the Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal at Texas Tech University School of Law are looking for one additional professional article to complete Book 1 of its inaugural issue.
Currently the Journal has articles from the Honorable Probate Judge Georgia Akers regarding counseling the terminally ill client, Governor Preston E. Smith Regents Professor of Law Gerry W. Beyer regarding common estate planning errors, and leading practitioners Al Golden regarding community property issues in retirement plans and Sharon Gardner regarding the ethics and costs associated with fiduciary litigation.
The Journal will also publish two student comments — The “Socially Endorsed, Legally Framed, Normative Template”: What Has In Re Marriage Cases Really Done for Same-Sex Marriage? and To Affirmatively Disclose or Passively Disclose, That is the Texas Trustee’s Question: What Duty of Disclosure Does a Texas Trustee Owe to a Beneficiary?
The editors are looking for one more professional article, of an academic nature and national appeal, with which to fulfill the Journal’s goal for a well-rounded perspective on Estate Planning issues.
Please send your article to Leslie.obinegbo@ttu.edu in Word format for consideration.
We look forward to reading your submissions and promise a very prompt reply.
