Vermont House moves forward on same-sex marriage bill

VermontVermont, which already recognized civil unions nine years ago, may be on the brink of authorizing same-sex marriage.

However, the votes do not appear to be large enough to overturn a veto.  Governor Jim Douglas has already indicated that he plans to veto the bill.
