Majel Barrett’s Pet Trust

Barrett_Majel Majel Barrett, widow of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and who appeared in many episodes of the series and supplied the computer voice in all Star Trek movies (including   Star Trek which is being released on May 8, 2009), died on December 18, 2008.

It has recently been revealed that Majel established a trust to care for her dogs.  She left $4 million in the trust, named an employee (Reinelda Estupinian) as the caregiver, gave her $1 million outright, and the right to live in her house along with the dogs.

Note that Gene and Majel’s son receives $60 million plus additional funds when he reaches ages 35, 40, and 45.  He also receives a mansion in Bel-Air.
