Minnesota enacts Uniform Disclaimer of Property Interests Act

On May 12, 2009, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty signed into law a version of the Uniform Disclaimer of Property Interests Act.  S.B. 1810.

According to Adam J. Hirsch (William and Catherine VanDercreek Professor of Law, Florida State University College of Law), “[t]he statute comprises a revised version of the Uniform Disclaimer of Property Interests Act, incorporating many improvements over the original form of that Uniform Act.”
