Brits Want the Rich to Pay Higher Taxes

A recent poll in the UK found that two-thirds of the British want the rich to pay higher, punitive taxes.  An article in the UK Observer notes:

People had assumed that [the rich] were more than competent and it must have been deserved. There is now a feeling that these people have been responsible for others losing their jobs

Another poll found that two-thirds of the British blame America for the current credit crisis.
