Nursing Home Improperly Uses Drugs and Causes Deaths
A complaint alleges that psychotropic drugs were administered to numerous uncooperative patients at a nursing home in Kern County, California, resulting in three deaths and other severe side affects. Three people were arrested and charged with elder abuse, including the director and pharmacist, who are accused of administering shots by force and without consent, and are facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
