House Expected to Address Estate-Tax Repeal

Estate_tax According to the Wall Street Journal, the House of Representatives is expected to propose a one-year plan that would prevent the scheduled repeal of the estate tax in 2010. Congressional aides have indicated that the House will propose extending 2009 rates.

While some lobbyists believe democrats and republicans in the Senate could reach a more permanent solution before the year’s end, the current healthcare debate will likely slow down any such resolutions.
