An abstract of the article is below:

This article addresses certain defenses available to trustees against claims brought by the trust beneficiaries and focuses on timeliness defenses (statute of limitations, laches, and self-executing accounting release provisions) and exculpatory clauses.  At the end of the article, certain practice tips are provided.
