Houston Litigator is Suing Nursing Homes
Marian Rosen, a well-known Houston litigator, has announced that she intends to file suit against nursing homes that are requiring 3rd party guarantors on nursing home contracts that are required as a prerequisite to homes that accept Medicaid or Medicare which is in violation of the Nursing Home Reform Act. The announcement was published on June 23 in the Houston Chronicle in an article called Elder Law Notes. The article includes comments from Eric Carlson, Managing Attorney for the National Senior Citizen’s Law Center in Los Angeles and Steve Silverberg, President of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).
