What Trust Companies are Charging

Trust The Trust Advisor Blog conducted its trust industry survey for the third quarter of 2010. It found that providers charge about similar prices for similar services. It also asked Rafi Mohammed, author of The Art of Pricing, for his insight as to what makes some of these similarly priced vendors better than others. Mohammed said that in addition to price, advisers also consider amount of assets under administration, technology used by the trust company, overlay systems used by the trust company, and support services offered.

For more information, including a side-by-side comparison of the rates of different trust companies, see Scott Martin, Who’s Charging What for Trust Services? Part 3, The Trust Advisor Blog, Oct. 2, 2010. See also my previous blog on Part 2 of this survey.
