Massachusetts pet trust legislation stalled in Committee

Massachusetts

Massachusetts House Bill 1467 would validate “[a] trust for the care of one or more animals alive during the settlor’s lifetime.”

After passing the House on June 15, 2010, the bill was read and referred to the Senate Committee on Ethics and Rules where it has stalled.  No upcoming hearings are scheduled.
