Tax deal rejected by Democrats — Estate tax reform in jeopardy

House of Representative Democrats have voted not to consider Pres. Obama’s tax reform proposal which he obtained by careful negotiation between both Republicans and Democrats.

Accordingly, it remains possible that the estate tax will “roar back like a lion” on January 1, 2011.  Stay tuned for more developments.
