Most Americans Don’t Cheat on Taxes

Taxes Or maybe they just don’t admit it to the IRS.

The Internal Revenue Service Oversight Board conducted a survey of 1,000 Americans and found that 87% think it’s never acceptable to cheat on income taxes. Eight percent said it was ok to cheat a little, while 4% said it’s ok to cheat as much as possible. Personal integrity influences properly reporting income taxes 80% of the time, while fear of an audit only influences proper reports 35% of the time.
