Did a Teenager Kill Van Gogh?

Van goghSteven Naifeh and Gregory White Smith, two American writers, claim that Vincent Van Gogh did not commit suicide over a century ago, but was actually fatally shot by a friend’s brother.

According to Naifeh and Smith’s new book entitled Van Gogh: The Life, a friend’s teenage brother shot the artist in the French town of Auvers-sur-Oise in 1890. In the alternative, the writers theorize that two local boys accidentally shot Van Gogh while playing with a malfunctioning pistol.
