Kurt Cobain Victim of Identity Theft?

In a new Vanity Fair interview, Courtney Love discusses her life choices and her anger at Kurt Cobain for taking his own life. One financially related topic discussed in the article is Love’s claim that Cobain was a victim of identity theft following his death. Love alleges that in 2008 an identity thief stole and used the late Cobain’s identity to buy a $3 million mansion and steal close to $72 million.
