Recent Data on UK Estate Planning

Money stackAccording to recent data published on unbiased.co.uk, a British professional advice website, twenty-seven percent of UK adults hope to leave behind enough money following their death for their family and pets to live comfortably.

Specifically, nineteen percent hope to leave enough to boost a child or grandchild’s savings, fifteen percent hope to leave enough for a child or grandchild to put a deposit on a house, and eleven percent hope to leave enough to fund a child or grandchild’s education. Additionally, nine percent of UK adults expect to leave a business behind, and fifty-one percent expect to leave behind jewelry, antiques and paintings.
