Digital Asset Protection
It is becoming increasingly important for people to protect digital assets. Making arrangement for these often overlooked assets can spare emotional pain, and ensure that certain people do not have improper account access after the account holder has died.
There are companies that now exist to help people organize the disposition of their digital assets. You can also take care of these digital assets by being sure to include them in your will. Many people forget about adding these into the will because they are not physical assets. Lastly, you can simply leave sealed envelopes to family members or in a place where one trusted family member knows where to find them and include directions for your digital assets, along with passwords and user names.
