Nevada Tops the Domestic Asset Protection Trust State Rankings Chart

Steve Oshins is a nationally known estate planning and asset protection attorney who created the Domestic Asset Protection Trust State Rankings Chart. The main factor that Oshins considers in his rankings is the exception creditors that can pierce through the asset protection trusts in that state. He also looks at the stateute of limitations period. States with shorter limitations periods are ranked higher on the list. Nevada is currently ranked number 1 on his chart. Alaska and South Dakota follow at second and third respectively.
