Music Mogul Leaves Large Sums to Chauffeur and Doorman

Alan Meltzer, a high-stakes poker player and music mogul, passed away in October, leaving $1 million to his chauffeur and $500,000 to his doorman. Though both men remembered their employer as a good man, Meltzer’s ex-wife, Diana, did not have many kind words to say about her ex-husband.

Had Diana and Meltzer not divorced, Diana would now be entitled to a third of the estate. In a quote provided to the The Post, Diana uses crude language to express her indifference as to who received Meltzer’s fortune. The cause of Meltzer death is still unknown.
