ACTEC Elects Louis A. Mezzullo as new President

The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel has recently elected Louis A. Mezullo as its new president. His principal areas of practice are Taxation, Estate and Business Succession Planning, and Employee Benefits. He is a former member of the faculty of the University of Miami School of Law Graduate Program in Estate Planning. He was an adjunct professor of law at the University of Richmond Law School from 1978 until 2006, and was on the faculty at the University of San Diego School of Law in 2009.

In addition to Mr. Mezzullo, ACTEC’s Board of Regents confirmed the election of the 2012-2013 officers, including;

• President-Elect: Duncan E. Osborne (Austin, Texas) 
• Vice-President: Kathleen R. Sherby (St. Louis, Missouri) 
• Treasurer: Bruce Stone (Coral Gables, Florida)
• Secretary: Cynda C. Ottaway (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) 
• Immediate Past President: Mary F. Radford (Atlanta, Georgia)
