Which States Have the Most Multi-Millionaires?

The IRS recently released statistics revealing which states have the most residents with a net worth of $2 million or more. The top ten states are:

1. California

2. New York

3. Florida

4. Texas

5. Illinois

6. New Jersey

7. Pennsylvania

8. Massachusetts

9. Ohio

10. Virginia

There are two things to note about this list. First, it largely tracks population. Second, the number of multi-millionaires may be different than the concentration of multi-millionaires.
