Dementia Will Continue to Affect More Into The Future
According to the U.N. health agency, currently, 35.6 million people live with dementia. That figure should double by 2030 to reach 65.7 million and by 2050, there will be 115.4 million individuals who suffer from dementia.
Despite these alarming figures, only eight countries have national programs to address dementia. The World Health Organization recommends that caregivers should plan to provide better support for those with dementia.
