Another Claimant Enters Lottery Dispute

LotteryAs I have previously discussed, several employees brought suit against their company lottery pool alleging that because the winning lottery ticket was purchased with funds from an earlier winning ticket that they contributed to, they are entitled to an equal share of the winnings from the $118 million prize.

Now, another employee, Chris Tzinis, has brought a claim against the lottery pool. However, unlike the earlier claimants, Tzinis’ complaint alleges that he has participated in the pool for awhile and would have participated if the lottery pool had asked him to contribute to the pool that contained the winning ticket. Tzinis allegations are based upon the fact that the pool had a standing agreement to divide the winnings equally if they ever did win the lottery.
