Cop Dies During Three-Way Sex; Jury Awards $3 Million to Widow

Unknown-2A jury in Georgia found that an Atlanta Police Officer’s doctor was negligent in not properly diagnosing and treating his heart condition. The police officer died while having three-way sex, and a jury awarded $3 million to the officer’s widow.

Police Officer William Martinez fell off the bed and became unresponsive while engaging in three-way sex with a man and another woman who was not his wife. He died at the hospital within an hour, and the cause of death was pronounced to be hardening of the arteries.

Martinez’s widow claimed that the officer’s doctor, Sreenivasulu Gangasani, did not properly diagnose Martinez’s condition, and did not order him to avoid strenuous activity until further testing could be done.

The Gwinnett County jury found the doctor negligent and awarded $5 million. The award was ultimately reduced to $3 million because the jury also found that William Martinez was 40% responsible for his own death.

Gangasani plans to appeal. He claims that he did all that he could to prevent Martinez’s death and that Martinez had a history of not following his doctor’s orders.
