Family Argues Over Carroll Shelby’s Body

TMZ reports that late racing legend Carroll Shelby’s body has been in a Texas medical examiner’s office since he died last month because his children and his estranged wife are in an ongoing legal battle over who is entitled to the remains. Carroll and Cleo were married for 13 years and Carroll filed for divorce in 2010. At the time of his death, the divorce was still pending.

According to TMZ, Shelby’s three children are claiming that their father signed a document giving them rights to his remains. Cleo claims that he was in no condition to sign such a paper.
