Money Found in Walls Belongs to Heirs

Unknown-9$500,000 cash was found in the walls of Robert Spann’s home after he died in 2001, and an Arizona court declared that the man’s heirs are entitled to that money. Before his daughters sold the house seven years after his death, they found stocks, bonds, cash, and gold, but they did not find the cash in the walls.

A couple bought the home from the daughters, and a worker who was remodeling their house was the one who found the cash in the walls. The couple then claimed the money. The Court decided that the money was not abandoned, rather it was mislaid and still belonged to Spann’s estate.
