Trial of Two Accused of the Murder of Elderly Man Will Begin Soon

Estate DisputeThe voir dire process began this past Monday, June 11th, for trial of Daniel Garcia and Kaushal Niroula. Each of the men face numerous charges for the death of Clifford Lambert, a 74 year-old-man. The co-defendants along with several other conspirators wanted to kidnap Mr. Lambert and steal his identity. However, this plan was scrapped because the men realized that Mr. Lambert could possibly “re-emerge and contest forged power-of-attorney documents.” These individuals ended up killing Mr. Lambert in a staged break-in of his home. The remains of Mr. Lambert were never found. The person who killed Mr. Lambert was named Miguel Bustamante, and he was convicted of first-degree murder. Mr. Niroula was there when Mr. Bustamante killed Mr. Lambert. Mr. Garcia is tied to this conspiracy through his use of Mr. Lambert’s debt card following his death.
